Bezalel Graduation Project

Pen Pals is an interactive project whose classification falls somewhere between that of an e-book and application. It tells the story of Ruth and June who began a trans-Atlantic pen friendship in 1942. Their correspondence has been constant throughout their entire lives and continues on today.
The user is invited to navigate through their collection of letters, using both timelines and recurring subjects as guides. The letters weave together a narrative which tells the stories of two women and the world in which they both lived.
